Winter Accents with Ming!

January 22, 2014

The Ming fern, is commonly referred to as it resembles a fluffy fox tail! Oh yeah!  It has tiny tufts of needle-like leaves and light green in color. While this is available all year round, it works best during the winter months due to it’s pine tree feel.

The Ming fern when used in unison with other flowers and textures, adds a unique twist.  Seen here a collection of large tropical protea, offering structure. Light and airy Ming accents create a whimsical feel among the spikes of the safari sunset . Finished with the fluffy abundance of hydrangeas.

Snippets of the Ming can be used in detailed work, as well. Corsages, boutineers, and even halos. Fun foxy tails for all!
