This past Saturday at Lowndes Grove Plantation, I was standing at the back of an amazing lawn ceremony with pure joy in my heart. This was a wedding with so much love and planning and the finish product was everything you could want and more.
A few months ago I had the pleasure of meeting Hyla DeWitt and her incredibly charismatic mother Manuca. They came in the shop to talk flowers and we just instantly clicked. Hyla is an wonderfully talented jewelry designer out of Raliegh and her groom to be, Bradley, a lawyer. Hyla grew up right here in Charleston and wanted the little girls dream of a wedding with a beautiful modern flare. With her artistic eye, we decided on a classic and modern flare for the wedding us using yummy whites and golds, and taupe’s for the base and pops of bright pink to add depth. The tent drapped in white and chandliers brought the eye down to an elegant seated dinner with gold chivari chairs and charges, chuck candles and natural cut flowers in all ranges of pink. we created separate seating and design in our dance tent showing more modern design and using a switch of traditional floral design and this theme trailed down to the water seating area as well.
From my perspective, having Hyla tell me it was everything she wanted and more was such an incredible feeling and I am so blessed to be part of this journey in their lives. Will keep everyone updated on more pictures once they come through!
