seasonal blooms: subtle fall

September 28, 2011

Fall weddings don’t have to mean yellow, orange, and red. No way, you can incorporate similar textures and types of flowers, without screaming FALL! Subtle touches are key.

Here are orange dahlias, soften by touches of dusty miller, thistle, ivory garden rose, and berzilla berries for texture.  Finished with a stripe ribbon for an added bonus! For the groom, how about a little wheat  cluster with a simple bow. Again, subtle touches.

Instead of orange pumpkins, get white pumpkins! Carve in your intials or the word “Love” and place a candle in it.  Need escort cards? How about takingmini white pumpkins and placing the card in the stem of the pumpkin?! Adorable!
