Lavender is the New Pink

February 24, 2016

It’s February ~ who said you have to have pink, red, white, blush as your colors?! Absolutely not!
We love mixing it up here at the Lily! Incorporating rich jewel tones with soft pastels, shades of purple, absolutely stunning!
Purple hydrangeas, lavender roses, vintage pink amnesia rose, raspberry carnations, and lavender stock are used for this studded installation. Dusty miller, offers a soft romantic feel with the delicate hue of gray. It just softens all the rich tones.

For the reception, every table varied in style and design. Either by table top décor or linen selection to add interest against the wood walls. The tables were layered with antique candlesticks, vintage glassware, textured linens and abundance of flower groupings. Ranunculus, anemones, mini callas, waxflower, ruscus and many more were used throughout the space.

We just loved the way the silver mercury glass is reflected in this mirrored glass. When the lights go down, the warm amber glow will aluminate the mercury vessel and sparkle throughout the night. Details of silver sparkles can be found everywhere, even the cake! Studded bead are placed around the first cake tier, with mini calla accents. We enjoy this color palate for February and beyond!
