Design Time: Rose Gold, Gold, Magnolia, Protea
Holiday Design time! I don’t’ know about you, but red and green colors for holiday décor can be drape.
Lets spruce it a bit this year! We’ll incorporate rose gold, gold, sequins, rich greens, and whites to create
our holiday dinner table. Check out our inspiration tablesetting.
We started with just a few varieties of greenery and used these as our accents. We choose large broad
magnolia leaves, and painted them rose gold. Followed by fresh seeded eucalyptus enhanced with liquid
gold. Gathered these items and some additional seasonal cedar and Douglas fir, and placed them in
mercury gold honeycomb footed vase for added height. The centerpiece was finished with beautiful king
proteas’ with their dusty pink petals and ivory center.
Winter white modern chairs, crisp and clean tablecloth, finished with an off centered gold sequin table
runner. (provided by Connie Duglin Linens) The white background, allows the shimmer of the sequins
shine through and allow the votive candles to sparkle on and on! We re-purposed mercury votive
holders and use these as vessels to hold additional sprigs of greenery and berries. We went online and
printed “Merry Christmas” card to be placed on each napkin. We just love the decorating for the
holidays! Oh and bonus, these pieces can last up to two weeks!!
