Thomas Bennett ~ Behind the Scenes Inspiration Shoot

October 5, 2016

Strolling the aisles of Target, I came across this fun ampersand symbol. It was white, plastic and was meant to sit on a shelf and light up. I had another idea. Lets fill it with flowers and use it in our upcoming photo shoot! After a few coats of rose-gold paint, we were ready to start!

Filled the symbol with chunks of oasis, that way the flowers will have a water source, and will last longer while onsite! It doesn’t need to be pretty, just functional. We’ll cover it with beautiful blooms.

We used locally grown fall hydrangea florets and burgundy scabiosa. We secured each bloom into the oasis and for those hard to hold spots, we used hairpin wire to secure them.

We were pleased with the outcome! Perfect for a bar, sign in table, guest book table, sweetheart table, and so many other spaces! Redefine, re-purpose, reuse! We love taking random items, and incorporating them into any event, making it truly unique to you.
