Desert Tones!!!

February 28, 2018

Looking for something different? Tired of blush and navy ? Or Blush and Ivory? Want your wedding to stand out from the rest? Have you thought about Desert Tones? Quickly becoming one of our favorites!  Not familiar? Just think of the striking horizon and the various hues of color and textures you see rolling over the terrain. Clay, terracotta, gray, burnt orange, salmon, mauve, etc.. Just like a sunset, the colors are different and appear different each time.  We see taupe, peach, gold, dusty pink, lavender combo below, as well.

Desert tones are creating the most unique flower ensembles out there! Look at some of our inspiration photos! From the deserts out west, to hand painted watercolor place cards holders with gold leaf. It’s about layers and textures to create this overall look! Flowy, full, organic bouquets with utilizing texture foliage, such as Pampas grass, pods, ferns, etc..

Here are some of our favorite blooms for you to see the coloring come to life: Bronze Amaranthus, peach lisanthus, echinacea pods, café dahlias, ranunculus, bouvardia, germini’s gerberas, mother of pearl rose, vintage carnations, free spirit rose, gomphrena, hellebores, clematis, pampass grass, just to name a few!
