Charleston Elopement In Style
Planning a wedding can get overwhelming with all the details that are required and protcool. Traditions and “must do’s” are required and pressure is applied to the couple to do things, that they may not agree with to make family members happy. We understand why couples are eloping. But days of running to the courthouse is behind us. Couples want a ” real ” wedding, even though they are keeping it small.
They still want a beautiful setting, flowers to hold, 1st dance, cake cutting, and even a 1st look! The works! And we don’t blame them, keeping it small and focused on what really matters!!
Look how adorable Sara & Tyler’s Middleton Plantation elopement turned out! By the photos, you may not know, it was a wedding for two! We just love it!
They started off downtown Charleston, SC with a first look. Taking a few photos down at Rainbow Row and College of Charleston, before heading to the plantation. Middleton Plantation and the Octongal Garden was the backdrop for the nupitals. Under a large grand oak tree, on the banks of the Ashely River. Picture Perfect!
Bride had custom ribbons made to add to her wedding bouquet. It was a bible verse that was dear to her heart. Cafe dahlias, honeysuckle, garden roses, tweedia, astilbe, peonies were among our favorites in her bouquet. The groom wore a custom feather bowtie !
We love all the personal touches they thought of for their wedding day!!
