Its that time of year, where the weather is sunny and gorgeous and family and friends are gathering in the backyard.  This year, its your turn to host the annual festivities, now what? Here are a few simple ideas to decorate your space without breaking the bank.

Idea # 1 Table linen = have a used drop cloth in the garage?  Grab a scrap fabric overlay to soften the drop-cloth. Or check the local fabric store for remnant sections, typically $5 for a few yards!

Idea # 2   Silverware per-gathered together with double face satin ribbon. This little bundle is easy to carry and a cute way to introduce a color into the mix.

Idea # 3  Greet your guest with Sweet Tea! Found these vintage Pepsi glasses in our cupboard, perfect  coloring for the occasion, adorned with a lemon slice.

Idea # 4  Good Job! You’ve been watering plants on the front porch and wedding the beds  all summer,  now its time to put these beautiful blossoms to work.  “ Grow to Show “ movement  ~ take the potted plants and incorporate them into the space.  Scented geranium with its beautiful cup shaped leaves and vibrant red petals are the perfect compliment.  Trim the hydrangea bushes with its varing shades of florets and you have it!

Of course, if you don’t have a green thumb, swing by Tiger Lily to pickup your fresh stems. All loose stems are half priced. (pre-orders n/a)
