Oakley Farms Photo Shoot

May 9, 2018

It’s always fun collaborating with great vendors! Check out this romantic barn inspired photo shoot with Colbee Lynn and team.

Ever wonder how it’s done? We first start with an inspiration board. Choose colors, textures, overall feel for what we want it to look like. Then each vendor involved adds their special touch to it!

You can see our design board with navy, burgundy, wine, merlot tones and greenery as our main ingredients. Then we open it up from there.

See the results with our beautiful couple~

Burgundy dahlias, red ranunculus, flowering pieries, red parrot tulips, green helebrous, eggplant ranunculus, burgundy scabiosa, green mini hydrangea and forage greenery. We just adore all the textures and the full petal count on the dahlias and ranunculus! Paired with the navy suit and burgundy tie, we used a few red blooms that coordinate with the bride.  Sometimes we forget that’s it’s the groom’s day too!  He’s looking quite dapper in his tailored navy suit.   Love the use of colors and textures throughout! Especially the ceremony backdrop.

The Ceremony backdrop, is an existing structure at Oakley Farms! How awesome is that?!

We created a backdrop with layering solid and floral print navy fabrics. Gorgeous chandelier was the centerpiece of this ensemble. Finished with a “growing” floral installation to the structure. Dripping with the same blooms as the bride carried in her bouquet.

Reception in the large wooden barn, carried the same elements of navy linens, with burgundy flowers throughout the space. Glidden cake adorned with flowering pieres and burgundy dahlias.
